About Us

We enable kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with life skills curriculum, we create learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids carry to everything they do.

First Tee is an international youth development organization using the game of golf and its inherent values to teach young people life skills and healthy habits.

First Tee Tri-Valley was formed in October 2005 by a group of local business leaders and golf professionals to make golfing more accessible throughout the Tri-Valley and Greater Alameda County with specifically targeted financial support. First Tee Tri-Valley is the local chapter for Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin, San Ramon and Fremont hosting programs at golf facilities, elementary schools and public parks. Many of our programs are offered free of charge to participant families, whose children can benefit from our character education curriculum the most.

FIRST TEE NETWORK-WIDE MISSION

To impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.

FIRST TEE TRI-VALLEY LOCAL CHAPTER VISION

Utilize the game of golf to be the premier youth development organization in the Tri-Valley and maximize community impact.

Children ages 7-17 can become members of First Tee Tri-Valley for a $50 annual fee, providing discounted access to facilities across Northern California and eligibility for all local The First Tee and Girls Golf programs.
