| Greetings First Tee Tri-Valley Community, We are hosting our second annual Fore the Kids Golf and Cornhole Tournament on Friday, October 2, at the Pleasanton Golf Center at the Alameda County Fair, and we hope you can join us! This year, we’ve made registration even easier!Just use this link: Fore the Kids Golf and Cornhole Tournament If you joined us last year, you know what a great time the Fore the Kids event can be. Gather a foursome and choose from an AM or PM round of fun and light-hearted golf, join us for a great BBQ lunch, enjoy live music by the Dream Tellers (back by popular demand!) And this year, we’ve added a cornhole tournament! We will also have a raffle featuring some great prizes! Of course, there is a purpose behind all the fun! First Tee Tri-Valley, now is our 21st year, is dedicated to serving the youth of our communities. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with a life skills curriculum, we create active learning experiences that build inner strength, self confidence and resilience that kids can carry into everything that they do. And no child is ever turned away from First Tee programs for lack of resources. From access to our training facility, to equipment, coaching and mentorship, your support ensures that every kid gets a chance to grow and learn through the First Tee Tri-Valley. 2025 Recap:
What a Day — Fore the Kids Was a Huge Success!
A massive THANK YOU to everyone who joined us at Pleasanton Golf Center for our inaugural First Tee Tri-Valley “Fore the Kids” Golf Event! From early-morning tee-offs to the final Water Tower Shootout, the day was filled with sunshine, smiles, and community spirit.
The Golf
The competition was friendly but fierce — with plenty of strategy and great shots all around!
- 1st Place: Team Verkada #1 (Score 21)
- 2nd Place: Pastas Trattoria (after a 3-way tie at 22)
- 3rd Place: PNC Bank #1
- 4th Place: Dryden Construction
Closest-to-the-Pin Winners:
- Hole #2 – AM: Kelly French (6 ft) | PM: Nicole Iamranond (7’8”)
- Hole #8 – AM: Derrick Perez (2’5”) | PM: Kathy Kennedy (10’6”)
The Party
The day kicked off with complimentary Bloody Marys and continued with “refreshments” on every other hole — special shoutout to Pastas Trattoria for the fan-favorite bar on Hole #6!
Guests enjoyed Jose’s famous ribs, brisket & chicken for lunch while The Dream Tellers kept the vibe alive with over six hours of live music. 
The Big Win
Together, we not only hit the greens — we surpassed our $25,000 matching-grant goal during the Fund-a-Need call!
